Biografia
Khalil is an outstanding scientist with a meteoric career in the fields of stem cells and cancer, recently awarded with a RyC fellowship. He did his PhD at Université Libre Bruxelles, in Cédric Blanpain’s lab, where he coauthored multiple papers in high profile journals, including several Nature, Nature Cell Biology and others. Then, he moved to Angela Nieto’s lab where he continued his career, publishing multiple articles and received several grants as PI in breast cancer and seekeing at the interaction of developmental biology and cancer. Tomorrow he will explaining us his current research, including few lines of his unpublished research his is immersed in, exploring the innervation of solid tumors.
