IDIBELL, University Hospital of Bellvitge and UPC collaborate to develop new health technologies

IDIBELL, University Hospital of Bellvitge and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) have signed a cooperation agreement in the field of education, research and innovation to share knowledge and needs that will allow the development of new health technologies.

The agreement establishes a framework for relations between the three institutions for future collaboration in order to promote biomedical research and technology transfer. The agreement will facilitate researchers IDIBELL access to existing technologies in the UPC and will allow students and researchers in engineering from the UPC learning about the needs of the health staff to develop innovative solutions in the hospital environment. This agreement was made on the Unit of Innovation of IDIBELL, which will be responsible for managing activities related to this collaboration. The Polytechnic University of Catalonia BarcelonaTech (UPC ) is a public institution of higher education and research in the fields of engineering , architecture and the sciences, and is one of the leading technical universities in Europe.
