On April 24, the IDIBELL’s Accelerator Meeting Point (AMP) 5th edition will be held, organized by the Business Development and Innovation Area and the Department of Competitive Calls of the Institute. In this event, innovative projects from the biotech and biomedical sector looking for market transfer resources will be presented. At the same time, investors and leading companies in the healthcare sector will be offered exclusive access to innovation projects at different development stages. All this will be complemented with talks that will bring light and tools to face the innovation process. More information will also be given on the major expansion project of the Bellvitge Campus for the coming years, the Health Biocluster.
This year, the event will consist of three sections: first, IDIBELL’s main researchers will present their projects in pitch deck format. After a short time of coffee and networking, there will be a round table on Horizon Europe calls by the IDIBELL Competitive Projects unit, in addition to a talk on regulatory strategies by Asphalion Iberia. In the third section, Laia Traveset, director of IDIBELL’s innovation unit, will explain what kind of support they offer to researchers, and then the doctor in molecular biology and specialist in biomedical knowledge transfer Luis Ruiz Ávila will lead the plenary. Then, L’Hospitalet City Council will present the Health Biocluster and, to finish, Miguel Angel Souto as the IDIBELL innovation and business development area director will close the day.
