Jaume Reventós: ”We are committed to a policy of full transparency and we will follow it”

On December 19th the hall of the University Hospital of Bellvitge hosted the first transparency session that IDIBELL management team wants to celebrate each semester to keep informed IDIBELL researchers and workers on the situation of the institution.

The CEO of IDIBELL, Jaume Reventós explained that in addition to these sessions has been incorporated into the IDIBELL web a transparency space where it will upload the information from the institution that may be relevant to workers. Reventós said his team is committed to “adopt a policy of full transparency and we will follow it.”

Reventós briefly explained the strategies lines that were recently approved in the new strategic plan IDIBELL and took the opportunity to congratulate the researchers for having maintained the levels of excellence in research during difficult times.

The management director, Alexandre Puerto explained the difficult economic situation of IDIBELL and economic viability plan approved by the board of trustees last December 10. This plan includes three phases over the next three years to pass from the high current deficit to a sustainable situation.

“Trustees of IDIBELL support the feasibility of the institute and that allows us to implement actions in the medium and long term through this plan that will lead to greater economic stability,” said Alexandre Puerto.
