The head of the research group in diabetes, nutrition and endocrine diseases at IDIBELL and physician at Endocrinology and Nutrition Service at University Hospital of Bellvitge has been awarded the Alberto Sols Award from the Foundation of the Spanish Society of Diabetes (SED) in recognition of his work in basic research.

The award ceremony will take place under the XXVI Congress of the SED held in Valencia between 15 and 17 April
