‘mi grano de arena’ and the charity challenge Garmin-Barcelona-Triathlon for research on X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy, a rare neurodegenerative disease that affects mainly children between 4 and 10 years.

The donation was made through the Centre for Biomedical Network Research on neurodegenerative diseases (CIBERNED). The initiative came from the Hotel Barcelona Princess staff, especially sensitive to this disease through a personal case within its staff
