On November 10th, the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL) was awarded the “Company with Value” badge by Vàlua entities. This award rewards the collaboration and commitment of IDIBELL with this platform and with equal opportunities of all people.

A “Company with Value” is a company committed to citizenship: a company that cares about the well-being of its environment and wants to be involved with it through collaboration with the city associations, either by hiring people in a vulnerable situation or risk of social exclusion and / or buying products and contracting services to Vàlua entities.

Collaboration with Vàlua entities not only improves the prestige of companies such as IDIBELL, but also provides benefits closely linked to corporate social responsibility, such as talent recruitment and retention, growth, tolerance and active listening, and the establishment of a good working environment in the organization, as well as tax benefits.

The ceremony was attended by Juli Fernández, the mayor of Sabadell, José Vidal, General Director of Social Economy, Social Affairs and Families of the Generalitat of Catalonia, and representatives of the Vàlua Entities. On behalf of IDIBELL, there was Esther Comabella, director of Human Resources, and Juan García, a worker who explained his experience and willingness to share this recognition with all IDIBELL members.
