The 2nd floor of the parking under Manlleu Square was filled with people, on February 12, to enjoy the Solidarity Underground Festival for the Neurofibromatosis research, organized by the Health Center Fitness Spa and Health Fina 67 study, jointly with the Catalan Association of Neurofibromatosis (ACNefi). During the day, which was very successful, workshops, a solidarity vermouth and various shows were offered. During the four hours that lasted the festival collected 5,164 euros, which ACNefi has given to IDIBELL to contribute in the fight against neurofibromatosis through the research project led by Dr. Conxi Lázaro.

From first hour, Underground attendees could enjoy a solidarity breakfast, the dance shows by children from Fina Study and 67 Center, and various children’s workshops. Arrived at noon point, a solidarity vermouth was offered while the choreographies of the dance groups rose of scenic level and the voices of the Coral Nàiades sounded. Then the energetic versions of Pep Poblet gave way to the reading of thanks on the part of the organizers. Finally, Joan and Roger Usart entered the scene with their songs and those of Guillem Roma, who just rounded a great day. The 2 floor of the parking lot, where you could also find T-shirts, bracelets and cookies, closed their doors after two and a half in the afternoon.

The promoters of the Festival were very satisfied both by the participation of citizens as the commitment of collaborators and donations collected through this festive day. In parallel, ACNefi has sold, in less than a year, nearly 1,650 solidarity t-shirts, which have given a net benefit of 11,100 euros that will also go to biomedical research. The entity, which works to overcome neurofibromatosis and make it known among society, has received the support of small companies and autonomous, and hopes to find the collaboration of a multinational or a foundation.
