Under the slogan “Loud and clear against cancer: Research” on 5 June, the Spanish Association Against Cancer Barcelona (AECC) hit the streets to raise funds with a clear objective: financing research against cancer.

The aecc marquee located at Barcelona downtown became a laboratory where ICO-IDIBELL researchers showed people how day a day cancer research is, to better explain where the collected money goes.

The aecc currently has 144 cancer research projects in 46 Spanish centers with a total budget of 25 million euros since 2009.
