The new board of the ACER was established on 18 January. The president of the organization is Lluís Torner, director of the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) and the secretary, Emilià Pola. Act as vocal, Anna Cabré (director of the Center for Demographic Studies, CED), Josep Anton Planell (director of the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, IBEC) and Miquel Àngel Pericàs (director of the Catalan Institute for Chemical Research, ICIQ).
