L\u2019Institut d\u2019Investigaci\u00f3 Biom\u00e8dica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL) vol expressar el seu condol per la mort d\u2019Antoni T\u00e0pies el dia 6 de febrer. L\u2019any 2004, l\u2019artista va realitzar de manera altruista el logotip del centre de recerca, de la mateixa manera que, anys abans, havia fet el de la Fundaci\u00f3 August Pi i Sunyer de l\u2019Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge, predecessora de l\u2019IDIBELL.<\/p>\n
El logotip creat per T\u00e0pies respon a la passi\u00f3 que mou l\u2019equip cient\u00edfic de la instituci\u00f3, alhora que vol representar la qualitat, el talent i la dimensi\u00f3 humana que comporta la tasca dels investigadors per a la societat. El cor i la creu sanit\u00e0ria nascuts del tra\u00e7 del mestre s\u00f3n l\u2019obra d\u2019on neix un s\u00edmbol universal per representar l\u2019IDIBELL.<\/p>\n
El 12 de febrer de l\u2019any 2008, els investigadors de l\u2019IDIBELL van retre un homenatge a l\u2019artista a la sala de convencions de l\u2019Hotel Hesperia Tower de l\u2019Hospitalet de Llobregat, en un acte presidit pel llavors ministre de Sanitat, Bernat Soria.<\/p>\n
