La revista Nature Biotech publica en el seu darrer n\u00famero un article sobre el projecte europeu Blueprint que es va posar en marxa el passat mes d\u2019octubre i que t\u00e9 com a objectiu generar els mapes epigen\u00f2mics de fins a cent tipus de diferents de c\u00e8l\u00b7lules de la sang per ajudar als investigadors a entendre com l\u2019epigenoma influeix en la salut i la malaltia.<\/p>\n
El Programa d\u2019Epigen\u00e8tica i Biologia del C\u00e0ncer de l\u2019IDIBELL, liderat per l\u2019investigador Manel Esteller \u00e9s un dels 41 participants del projecte que reuneix centres de recerca, universitats i empreses. Amb aquesta iniciativa, Europa far\u00e0 una contribuci\u00f3 substancial a l\u2019objectiu principal del Consorci Internacional Epigenoma Hum\u00e0 (IHEC) que pret\u00e9n obtenir els mapes de mil epigenomes humans. La Uni\u00f3 Europea finan\u00e7ar\u00e0 amb 30 milions d\u2019euros el projecte que compta amb un pressupost total de 40 milions d\u2019euros pels propers 4 quatre anys i mig.<\/p>\n
