Octavio Romero, investigador predoctoral del grup de gens i c\u00e0ncer de l’IDIBELL dirigit per la Dra. Montserrat S\u00e1nchez-C\u00e9spedes, ha obtingut el premi de recerca en oncologia RTICC 2012, convocat per la Xarxa Tem\u00e0tica d’Investigaci\u00f3 Cooperativa en C\u00e0ncer (RTICC) per l’article titulat \u201cThe tumour suppressor and chromatin-remodelling factor BRG1 antagonizes Myc activity and promotes cell differentiation in human cancer\u201d.<\/p>\n
El lliurament del premi va tenir lloc durant la celebraci\u00f3 de la tercera Trobada Cient\u00edfica de Joves Investigadors de la RTICC 2012, que va tenir lloc a l’Hospital Vall d’Hebron de Barcelona els dies 19 i 20 de novembre de 2012, i consisteix en un diploma, un objecte commemoratiu i un premi en met\u00e0l\u00b7lic de 3.000 euros per al finan\u00e7ament d’activitats de formaci\u00f3 o investigaci\u00f3 del candidat premiat.<\/p>\n
La concessi\u00f3 del premi va incloure l’exposici\u00f3 oral de treball premiat durant la trobada per part de l’investigador guardonat, exposici\u00f3 que tingu\u00e9 lloc el passat 20 de novembre.<\/p>\n
