El grup de la dra. Conxi L\u00e1zaro, investigadora principal del grup de recerca en c\u00e0ncer hereditari del programa Oncobell (IDIBELL) i cap de la Unitat de diagn\u00f2stic molecular del programa de C\u00e0ncer Hereditari (ICO), ha estat guardonat amb una de les cinc beques de recerca precl\u00edniques que l\u2019entitat NF Research Iniciative, vinculada al Boston Children Hospital, atorga anualment. Aquest programa de beques busca ampliar el coneixement existent a nivell biol\u00f2gic pel que fa a la progressi\u00f3 de tumors malignes de la beina\u00a0nerviosa (MPNST) per tal de fer avan\u00e7ar el desenvolupament de ter\u00e0pies contra aquestes patologies.<\/p>\n
\u201cLes ter\u00e0pies espec\u00edfiques \u00faniques no han demostrat efic\u00e0cia en el tractament de MPNST\u201d, explica la Dra. L\u00e1zaro. \u201cDavant d\u2019aquesta situaci\u00f3, el nostre grup de recerca ja ha realitzat un cribratge de f\u00e0rmacs d’alt rendiment en dues l\u00ednies cel\u00b7lulars de MPNST, identificant medicaments potents i efica\u00e7os que tamb\u00e9 hem provat, en alguns casos, en parells per trobar aquelles combinacions que mostrin millor sinergia\u201d, afegeix L\u00e1zaro.<\/p>\n
Ara, amb el finan\u00e7ament rebut, els Investigadors IDIBELL-ICO proposen validar aquestes combinacions emprant una plataforma terap\u00e8utica per a la medicina de precisi\u00f3 in vitro\/in vivo<\/em> ja desenvolupada que consta de tres components: l\u00ednies cel\u00b7lulars MPNST,<\/p>\n models de ratol\u00ed MPNST ortoxenograft (PDX) i un repositori de dades gen\u00f2miques de tots els models in vitro <\/em>i in vivo<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cAmb tota aquesta informaci\u00f3, podrem establir models de predicci\u00f3 de resposta a f\u00e0rmacs, tant com a agents individuals com en combinaci\u00f3, comparar i avaluar de tractament en l\u00ednies cel\u00b7lulars i models in vivo<\/em> provinents d\u2019un mateix pacient, i estudiar l’efecte de la senyalitzaci\u00f3 estromal en els tractaments i l’efectivitat de les combinacions terap\u00e8utiques sobre met\u00e0stasi\u201d, conclou la Dra.
