L’Ag\u00e8ncia Internacional per a la Recerca del C\u00e0ncer (IARC) ha publicat el volum 17, corresponent al cribratge de c\u00e0ncer colorectal, \u00a0de la col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 Handbooks of Cancer Prevention. El llibre ha estat elaborat per un grup de treball de 23 experts independents de 15 pa\u00efsos convocat per l’Ag\u00e8ncia, entre els qu\u00e8 es troba la Dra. Montse Garcia, investigadora IDIBELL-ICO del grup de Prevenci\u00f3 i Control del C\u00e0ncer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
El grup de treball va avaluar les evid\u00e8ncies cient\u00edfiques en relaci\u00f3 a l’efectivitat del cribratge de c\u00e0ncer colorectal en la reducci\u00f3 de la incid\u00e8ncia i mortalitat, a m\u00e9s de comparar diferents t\u00e8cniques de detecci\u00f3 preco\u00e7, i avaluar els determinants de participaci\u00f3 en els programes de cribratges, la identificaci\u00f3 de poblaci\u00f3 d’alt risc i les estrat\u00e8gies de vigil\u00e0ncia adequades segons l’estratificaci\u00f3 de risc.
