Cancers<\/em><\/a>, el focus s\u2019ha traslladat a l\u2019estudi de la met\u00e0stasi en el melanoma uveal o ocular, una forma rara de melanoma amb una gran tend\u00e8ncia a fer met\u00e0stasi al fetge. En aquest cas, l\u2019equip de l\u2019IDIBELL ha dilucidat el paper dels exosomes en la construcci\u00f3 de les condicions \u00f2ptimes al fetge per a la rebuda de c\u00e8l\u00b7lules canceroses durant el proc\u00e9s metast\u00e0tic. Els exosomes s\u00f3n unes ves\u00edcules, carregades de contingut molecular espec\u00edfic (prote\u00efnes, ADN, l\u00edpids), que les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules expulsen al medi i utilitzen per comunicar-se entre s\u00ed. Els investigadors han estudiat la c\u00e0rrega proteica d\u2019aquells exosomes alliberats per les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules del tumor primari de melanoma ocular, i han vist com aquestes petites ves\u00edcules contribueixen a la migraci\u00f3 de les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules tumorals i especialment a la preparaci\u00f3 del n\u00ednxol pre-metast\u00e0tic al fetge.<\/p>\nEn definitiva, en tots dos estudis, s\u2019ha comprovat l\u2019enorme plasticitat que demostren les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules canceroses, que s\u00f3n capaces d\u2019alterar tant l\u2019expressi\u00f3 g\u00e8nica com el microambient tumoral per a assegurar la met\u00e0stasi. Aquesta informaci\u00f3 t\u00e9 gran valor, ja que con\u00e8ixer els mecanismes pels quals les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules poden configurar aquests canvis \u00e9s crucial per aturar-los, i, per tant, \u00e9s essencial per al disseny de futures estrat\u00e8gies terap\u00e8utiques i diagn\u00f2stiques.<\/p>\n
