Journal of Affective Disorders<\/a>, tamb\u00e9 mostra que dos ter\u00e7os dels pacients s\u00f3n resistents als tractaments estandarditzats, com ara a la medicaci\u00f3, la ter\u00e0pia cognitiva conductual o la psicocirurgia. Segons els investigadors, aquests resultats reforcen la idea que el TOC \u00e9s una malaltia cr\u00f2nica. En aquest context, l\u2019aprenentatge autom\u00e0tic podria contribuir a propiciar una ter\u00e0pia m\u00e9s personalitzada.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
En els darrers temps existeix un inter\u00e8s creixent en el machine learning, un subcamp de la intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia artificial, per examinar conjunts de dades i crear models per fer prediccions o prendre decisions aprenent de les dades. En l\u2019\u00e0mbit de la psiquiatria, s’ha utilitzat per al diagn\u00f2stic de malalties, prediccions de tractament o la detecci\u00f3 de biomarcadors potencials. Alguns estudis que utilitzen l’aprenentatge autom\u00e0tic ja s’han realitzat en el TOC per predir la remissi\u00f3 dels s\u00edmptomes i els intents de su\u00efcidi.<\/p>\n

La mostra de l\u2019estudi ha estat de 134 persones, 60 pacients de la Unitat de TOC de l\u2019Hospital de Bellvitge i 74 voluntaris. Tot i que els investigadors emplacen a ampliar la mostra i disposar d\u2019algorismes encara m\u00e9s fiables, sostenen que l\u2019aprenentatge autom\u00e0tic podria predir els resultats dels pacients de TOC a llarg termini utilitzant \u00fanicament la informaci\u00f3 cl\u00ednica i cognitiva b\u00e0sica.<\/p>\n

El TOC, la \u201cmalaltia del dubte\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\nLes persones que pateixen Trastorn Obsessiu Compulsiu presenten pensaments, imatges o impulsos no desitjats (obsessions) que provoquen comportaments o accions mentals repetitives (compulsions). Aquestes obsessions i compulsions, aix\u00ed com les conductes evitatives, impacten en les activitats de la vida quotidiana, causant-los un gran patiment emocional. Aproximadament, un 2% de la poblaci\u00f3 general desenvolupa un TOC, i no se\u2019n coneix una causa espec\u00edfica, tot i que intervenen factors gen\u00e8tics i ambientals. La Unitat de TOC del Servei de Psiquiatria de l\u2019HUB \u00e9s referent en recerca sobre aquest trastorn en l\u2019\u00e0mbit internacional i segueix fent recerca per millorar la qualitat de vida de les persones que ho pateixen.<\/p>\n

A m\u00e9s, forma part del programa \u201cHR Excellence in Research\u201d de la Uni\u00f3 Europea i \u00e9s membre de EATRIS i REGIC.
