Un grup de recerca multidisciplinari format per professionals de l\u2019IDIBELL, l\u2019Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge i l\u2019Institut Catal\u00e0 d\u2019Oncologia ha evaluat l\u2019\u00fas d\u2019una plataforma de seq\u00fcenciaci\u00f3 massiva per trobar mutacions que predisposin a desenvolupar certs tipus de tumors o que ajudin a escollir ter\u00e0pies dirigides per a cada pacient. L\u2019estudi ha estat publicat a ESMO Open i \u00e9s el primer treball del Comit\u00e8 Molecular de Tumors i del Laboratori Core d\u2019An\u00e0lisi Molecular del Campus de Bellvitge, en qu\u00e8 participen conjuntament pat\u00f2legs, onc\u00f2legs, bi\u00f2legs, farmac\u00e8utics, genetistes i bioinform\u00e0tics de les tres institucions.<\/p>\n

En aquesta primera avaluaci\u00f3, s\u2019han analitzat 200 pacients amb c\u00e0ncer de pulm\u00f3 i s\u2019han detectat alteracions potencialment tractables en un 26,5% dels casos. S\u2019observa tamb\u00e9 que hi ha una major superviv\u00e8ncia en aquells malalts en qu\u00e8 es detecta una diana terap\u00e8utica i que rebien la ter\u00e0pia dirigida adient, comparat amb els que no la rebien o amb els pacients que no presentaven cap diana. Actualment, \u00e9s fonamental dur a terme un estudi molecular massiu per poder definir el tractament m\u00e9s \u00f2ptim pels pacients amb c\u00e0ncer de pulm\u00f3.<\/p>\n

La seq\u00fcenciaci\u00f3 massiva<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aquesta plataforma de seq\u00fcenciaci\u00f3 massiva NGS permet identificar alteracions a l\u2019ADN i l\u2019ARN de m\u00e9s de 500 gens i tamb\u00e9 avaluar altres tipus de marcadors gen\u00e8tics com poden ser la inestabilitat de microsat\u00e8l\u00b7lits o la c\u00e0rrega mutacional tumoral, els quals s\u00f3n de gran utilitat per predir l\u2019efic\u00e0cia de la immunoter\u00e0pia. A m\u00e9s d’estudiar els gens m\u00e9s rellevants en la rutina cl\u00ednica oncol\u00f2gica, tamb\u00e9 permet analitzar altres gens associats a la susceptibilitat a desenvolupar un tumor o alteracions moleculars que poden ser tribut\u00e0ries de ter\u00e0pies experimentals, fet que pot beneficiar als pacients i facilitar l’acc\u00e9s a noves estrat\u00e8gies terap\u00e8utiques.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
