Existeixen evid\u00e8ncies sobre els efectes de la dieta en relaci\u00f3 amb el risc de poder patir c\u00e0ncer de p\u00e0ncrees. De fet, podria haver-hi una relaci\u00f3 entre les dietes pro inflamat\u00f2ries i la possibilitat de desenvolupar c\u00e0ncer de p\u00e0ncrees. Tot i que aquesta evid\u00e8ncia no \u00e9s encara concloent, s\u00ed que \u00e9s una de les principals conclusions de l\u2019estudi d\u2019Investigaci\u00f3 Prospectiva Europea sobre el C\u00e0ncer i la Nutrici\u00f3 (EPIC) que aporta evid\u00e8ncies en relaci\u00f3 al potencial inflamatori de la dieta i el risc de patir c\u00e0ncer de p\u00e0ncrees.<\/p>\n

L\u2019estudi, publicat a la revista European Journal of Nutrition<\/em><\/a>, ha estat liderat per un equip d\u2019investigadors del Grup de Nutrici\u00f3 i C\u00e0ncer de l\u2019Institut d\u2019Investigaci\u00f3 Biom\u00e8dica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL) i l\u2019Institut Catal\u00e0 d\u2019Oncologia (ICO). A m\u00e9s, aquest estudi ha comptat amb el finan\u00e7ament de l\u2019Institut de Salut Carlos III.<\/p>\n

Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s una dieta pro inflamat\u00f2ria?<\/h3>\n

La dieta pro inflamat\u00f2ria \u00e9s un tipus de dieta en la que es consumeixen quantitats elevades d\u2019aliments que estan associats a major risc d\u2019inflamaci\u00f3. De fet, la inflamaci\u00f3 \u00e9s una resposta del sistema immunol\u00f2gic al dany cel\u00b7lular. Aix\u00f2 pot predisposar al cos a patir algunes malalties com poden ser la diabetis, les afectacions card\u00edaques o incl\u00fas alguns trastorns intestinals. Aix\u00ed doncs, l\u2019ab\u00fas dels greixos, els sucres, els carbohidrats, les carns processades, els olis i l\u2019alcohol<\/strong>, poden produir aquest efecte pro infamatori ja que, a vegades, la ingesta d\u2019aquest tipus d\u2019aliments va acompanyada de dietes baixes en consum de fruites i verdures.<\/p>\n

Com s\u2019ha realitzat l\u2019estudi?<\/h3>\n

L\u2019estudi ha comptat amb la participaci\u00f3 de 450.112 participants<\/strong> als quals se\u2019ls hi ha fet un seguiment durant 14 anys<\/strong>. Durant aquest per\u00edode de temps s\u2019han identificat 1.239 casos que van desenvolupar un c\u00e0ncer de p\u00e0ncrees. Un cop analitzat el potencial inflamatori de la dieta de tots els participants de l\u2019estudi, es va comparar amb el tipus de dieta que van realitzar els participants que van acabar desenvolupant el c\u00e0ncer de p\u00e0ncrees. L\u2019estudi del potencial inflamatori de la seva dieta es va fer a trav\u00e9s d\u2019unes puntuacions inflamat\u00f2ries que tenen alguns aliments, nutrients i\/o condiments i que tenen uns valors positius o negatius segons quins efectes tenen en el cos hum\u00e0. Aix\u00ed doncs, aquelles persones que tenien major \u00edndex de puntuaci\u00f3 inflamat\u00f2ria de la seva dieta tamb\u00e9 tenien major risc de desenvolupar un c\u00e0ncer de p\u00e0ncrees<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tal i com indica la investigadora principal de l\u2019estudi i del grup de Nutrici\u00f3 i C\u00e0ncer de l\u2019ICO i de l\u2019IDIBELL, Paula Jakszyn<\/strong>, \u201caquest \u00e9s el primer estudi prospectiu que explica la relaci\u00f3 entre el potencial inflamatori de la dieta i el risc de desenvolupar un c\u00e0ncer de p\u00e0ncrees. Com que, a dia d\u2019avui, encara \u00e9s molt dif\u00edcil poder tenir un diagn\u00f2stic i un tractament efectiu per combatre aquest tipus de c\u00e0ncer, la prevenci\u00f3 continua essent la principal arma per combatre aquesta malaltia<\/em>\u201d i afegeix, \u201ccom que s\u2019ha reconegut que hi ha diversos factors importants que poden incrementar el risc a patir un c\u00e0ncer de p\u00e0ncrees, cal fomentar els h\u00e0bits i estil de vida saludables per tal de poder prevenir aquest tipus de c\u00e0ncer<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n
