Pel que fa als humans, els autors indiquen que aquelles persones amb obesitat tenen una menor expressi\u00f3 del microARNs, disminuci\u00f3 que es reverteix quan els mateixos individus perden pes.<\/p>\n\u201cAquesta reversi\u00f3 en l\u2019expressi\u00f3 del microARNs quan es perd el pes ens indica que es tracta d\u2019una via din\u00e0mica i reversible, i que per tant, podr\u00edem aprendre en un futur a modular-la com a nova via de tractament contra l\u2019obesitat<\/em>\u201d, apunta de la Dra. Ampliant el coneixement del paper dels adip\u00f2cits en l\u2019obesitat<\/h3>\n
Els adip\u00f2cits s\u00f3n c\u00e8l\u00b7lules molt especialitzades que emmagatzemen energia en forma de gotes lip\u00eddiques. Les persones amb obesitat tenen un nombre superior d\u2019adip\u00f2cits als seus dip\u00f2sits de greix<\/strong>, caracter\u00edstica que es defineix abans d\u2019arribar a la vida adulta. Una mala gesti\u00f3 d\u2019aquests magatzems de greix i la renovaci\u00f3 i vida \u00fatil d\u2019aquestes c\u00e8l\u00b7lules pot comportar un augment de pes i les complicacions t\u00edpicament vinculades a l\u2019obesitat. En aquest sentit, l\u2019augment del teixit gras observat durant el decurs d\u2019aquesta recerca \u00e9s degut tant a l\u2019augment del nombre com a l\u2019engrandiment dels adip\u00f2cits que formen part integrant dels dip\u00f2sits de greix. L\u2019estudi liderat per l’IDIBGI i l’IDIBELL aprofundeix en el coneixement d\u2019aquest camp i demostra que aquest grup de microARNs, anomenat miR-424(322)\/503<\/strong>, funciona com un sistema de control de l\u2019acumulaci\u00f3 desproporcionada de greix corporal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\u201cAquest estudi, fruit d\u2019una serendipitat, representa un pas decidit envers la caracteritzaci\u00f3 d\u2019aquests microARNs i tot el que poden oferir com a criteri diagn\u00f2stic i dianes terap\u00e8utiques; amb tota la ci\u00e8ncia del tub d’assaig, per\u00f2 sense perdre de vista la realitat cl\u00ednica del pacient ob\u00e8s<\/em>\u201d, afirma per la seva banda el Dr. Francisco Jos\u00e9 Ortega<\/strong>, investigador principal de l\u2019IDIBGI i del CIBER de la fisiologia Fisiopatologia de l\u2019Obesitat i la Nutrici\u00f3 (CIBEROBN).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Uns microARNs supressors de tumors que tamb\u00e9 han resultat ser supressors de l\u2019obesitat<\/h3>\n
Fins ara, la Dra. Ruth Rodr\u00edguez-Barrueco i el Dr. David Llobet-Navas, investigador principal de l\u2019IDIBELL i del Centre d\u2019Investigaci\u00f3 en Xarxa d\u2019Oncologia (CIBERONC), havien centrat els seus estudis el grup miR-424(322)\/503 en la capacitat d\u2019inhibir el creixement tumoral en c\u00e0ncer de mama.<\/p>\n
\u201cEn aquest estudi no nom\u00e9s hem vist que el grup de microARNs amb el que est\u00e0vem treballant fins ara regulava l\u2019expressi\u00f3 d\u2019un conegut oncogen com \u00e9s la l\u2019SNCG, sin\u00f3 que a m\u00e9s hem descobert la relaci\u00f3 d\u2019aquets amb l\u2019obesitat. Aquesta coincid\u00e8ncia apunta clarament a una connexi\u00f3 potencial entre l\u2019obesitat i la incid\u00e8ncia del c\u00e0ncer de mama<\/strong><\/em>\u201d, indica el Dr. David Llobet-Navas<\/strong>, autor de correspond\u00e8ncia de l\u2019estudi.<\/p>\nAquest treball finan\u00e7at per la Fundaci\u00f3 de la Marat\u00f3 de TV3 l\u2019any 2016 ha estat fruit d\u2019una estreta col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 entre dos centres de recerca: l\u2019IDIBELL i l\u2019IDIBGI, liderat pel Dr. Francisco Jos\u00e9 Ortega, investigador principal de l\u2019IDIBGI, que \u00e9s l\u2019institut que ha coordinat aquest projecte. A m\u00e9s, es tracta d\u2019un estudi en que dos programes troncals del Centre d\u2019Investigaci\u00f3 Biom\u00e8dica en Xarxa (CIBER) uneixen\u00a0 forces per assolir una fita comuna: el CIBERONC i el CIBEROBN.<\/p>\n
