La Psicoter\u00e0pia Positiva en C\u00e0ncer, dissenyada per un equip de l’IDIBELL i de l’ICO, promou el creixement personal durant la malaltia per tal de potenciar canvis vitals positius, amb els quals aconseguir reduir a llarg termini el malestar emocional, com l’ansietat i depressi\u00f3, i els s\u00edmptomes d’estr\u00e8s. El malestar emocional que presenten moltes persones amb c\u00e0ncer a l’acabar els seus tractaments oncol\u00f2gics no t\u00e9 tant a veure amb afrontar una amena\u00e7a present, com pot ser el mateix tractament, sin\u00f3 m\u00e9s aviat, amb una amena\u00e7a futura, com recuperar una vida plena o la mateixa por a recaure en la malaltia.<\/p>\n

Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s la psicoter\u00e0pia positiva?<\/h3>\n

La Psicoter\u00e0pia Positiva facilita acomodar i canviar la mateixa vida de forma profunda i conscient a l’amena\u00e7a que suposa el c\u00e0ncer, prioritzant especialment una major sintonia amb les relacions personals significatives. Aquest focus terap\u00e8utic produeix canvis vitals positius m\u00e9s permanents que incideixen en el descens mantingut del malestar emocional.<\/p>\n

Afrontar el diagn\u00f2stic i el tractament d’un c\u00e0ncer genera, en un 40% dels pacients, un malestar emocional significatiu que impedeix portar una vida normal. \u00c9s habitual sentir deca\u00efment, irritabilitat, experimentar por, dificultats per dormir, problemes en les relacions socials o \u00edntimes i incertesa cap al futur. L’elevada amena\u00e7a de la malaltia i els possibles canvis f\u00edsics, laborals i familiars que pot comportar generen moltes reaccions emocionals. Fins al moment els tractaments psico-oncol\u00f2gics s’havien centrat a ensenyar als pacients a controlar o gestionar aquestes reaccions, \u00e9s a dir, aprendre a pal\u00b7liar-les. No obstant aix\u00f2, despr\u00e9s del c\u00e0ncer els pacients no nom\u00e9s experimenten malestar emocional, molts refereixen que la malaltia ha estat una oportunitat per replantejar la seva vida “en positiu”.<\/p>\n

Un estudi comparatiu entre Psicoter\u00e0pia Positiva i Ter\u00e0pia Cognitiva-conductual<\/h3>\n

Es va realitzar un assaig cl\u00ednic aleatoritzat per comparar la Psicoter\u00e0pia Positiva en C\u00e0ncer i la Ter\u00e0pia Cognitiva-conductual, tractament est\u00e0ndard pel maneig de les reaccions d’estr\u00e8s. En l’estudi van participar 140 dones que, despr\u00e9s de finalitzar els seus tractaments oncol\u00f2gics per c\u00e0ncer de mama, presentaven un elevat malestar emocional. D’aquestes, 67 van rebre Psicoter\u00e0pia Positiva i 73 Ter\u00e0pia Cognitivo-conductual.<\/p>\n

Els resultats, publicats a la revista The Journal of Positive Psychology, van mostrar que la Psicoter\u00e0pia Positiva en C\u00e0ncer redu\u00efa m\u00e9s a llarg termini el malestar emocional i l’estr\u00e8s que una ter\u00e0pia centrada a controlar les reaccions d’estr\u00e8s.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
