\n\t\tResum\n\t<\/h3>\n\tLa principal \u00e0rea d’inter\u00e8s del grup \u00e9s l’estudi de les malalties associades al fetge, particularment les complicacions del trasplantament hep\u00e0tic, de la cirrosi, hepatitis B i C, c\u00e0ncer hep\u00e0tic i de p\u00e0ncrees.
\nL’acostament \u00e9s principalment de caire cl\u00ednic, amb estudis en pacients i d’epidemiologia (poblacionals) estudiant les caracter\u00edstiques que correlacionen amb els pron\u00f2stics, i les causes de les complicacions en el tractament. La rellev\u00e0ncia de la seva investigaci\u00f3 \u00e9s clara, ja que d’una banda el c\u00e0ncer de p\u00e0ncrees \u00e9s un dels que pitjor pron\u00f2stic tenen a causa de la dificultat del seu diagn\u00f2stic, i de l’altra, per la posici\u00f3 central que t\u00e9 el metabolisme hep\u00e0tic al nostre organisme.\n
