El clorur \u00e9s l’ani\u00f3 m\u00e9s abundant en organismes. Els canals de clor de membrana plasm\u00e0tics de la fam\u00edlia CLC i LRRC8 s\u00f3n importants per a diverses funcions fisiol\u00f2giques, com ara la regulaci\u00f3 de l’excitabilitat a les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules nervioses i el m\u00fascul, tant per a la regulaci\u00f3 del volum cel\u00b7lular com per al transport transepitelial. Els rols fisiol\u00f2gics de diversos canals de clor s\u00f3n il\u00b7lustrats en malalties heredit\u00e0ries humanes causades per mutacions en els gens o subunitats auxiliars que regulen les seves funcions. L’objectiu del grup \u00e9s, doncs,\u00a0 intentar comprendre la regulaci\u00f3 del canal de clor per proporcionar solucions terap\u00e8utiques als pacients afectats. Utilitzem un enfocament multidisciplinari aplicant m\u00e8todes d’imatge, electrofisiologia i bioqu\u00edmica en models de ratolins i peix zebra.<\/p>\n
