Encara no es coneixen els mecanismes que defineixen la identitat cel\u00b7lular en organismes complexos. La majoria dels esfor\u00e7os s’han centrat en comprendre com alguns factors de transcripci\u00f3 dirigeixen la diferenciaci\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular en circumst\u00e0ncies particulars, com ara durant el desenvolupament o en c\u00e0ncer. Tanmateix, s’han passat per alt molts processos post-transcripcionals, imprescindibles per definir el repertori de transcripcions finals en una cel\u00b7la, i s’ent\u00e9n molt menys el seu paper en l’establiment d’aquesta identitat. Al laboratori, volem entendre com es coordinen els processos reguladors post-transcripcionals, i en particular la poliadenilaci\u00f3 alternativa, a nivell cel\u00b7lular individual i com contribueixen a la diferenciaci\u00f3 de c\u00e8l\u00b7lules tant en condicions de salut com de malalties.<\/p>\r\n
