El grup de Neurobiologia Cel\u00b7lular i Molecular investiga els mecanismes moleculars que controlen la neurotransmissi\u00f3. Ens interessen tots els aspectes relacionats amb la biologia cel\u00b7lular de les sinapsis, fent especial atenci\u00f3 als esdeveniments relacionats amb el tr\u00e0fic de ves\u00edcules sin\u00e0ptiques. El grup t\u00e9 el seu origen en l’\u00fas de toxines, particularment neurotoxines, per estudiar processos cel\u00b7lulars i tissulars relacionats amb la secreci\u00f3 regulada (neurotransmissors, hormones). Les nostres troballes tenen un ampli inter\u00e8s translacional i s\u00f3n particularment rellevants per a les sinaptopaties, que s\u00f3n malalties que causen disfuncions sin\u00e0ptiques i inclouen, per exemple, el trastorn de l’espectre autista, l’esquizofr\u00e8nia o moltes malalties neurodegeneratives.<\/p>\n
