Al acto asisti\u00f3 Merc\u00e8 Falip, investigadora principal del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n en Enfermedades Neurol\u00f3gicas y Neurogen\u00e9tica quien agradeci\u00f3 el esfuerzo y el compromiso de la asociaci\u00f3n en el impulso de la investigaci\u00f3n como herramienta para mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes con epilepsia, una enfermedad que afecta a 50 millones de personas en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>La asociaci\u00f3n \u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/sijopuctutambeepilep.org\/\">Si yo puedo, t\u00fa tambi\u00e9n #epilep<\/a>\u00bb se cre\u00f3 en 2018 con la intenci\u00f3n de dar a conocer la epilepsia. Poco a poco la asociaci\u00f3n se ha ido haciendo grande y en estos momentos tienen varios proyectos en marcha.<\/p>\n<p>Entre ellos, uno de los m\u00e1s destacados son los <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/donaci\u00f3_Juanillo\">kil\u00f3metros solidarios de Juanillo en moto<\/a>. \u00c9l es un motorista que est\u00e1 dando la vuelta al mundo, m\u00e1s de 100.000 kil\u00f3metros, para apoyar a la asociaci\u00f3n y recaudar fondos para la investigaci\u00f3n de la epilepsia. En estos momentos est\u00e1 en Camboya y tiene previsto terminarla el 26 de marzo de 2023, d\u00eda mundial de la epilepsia.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la asociaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n organiza y participa en m\u00faltiples carreras solidarias para visibilizar la enfermedad y recaudar fondos. Un ejemplo es Dani Jim\u00e9nez, un corredor que se ha propuesto hacer un marat\u00f3n semanal.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abSi yo puedo, t\u00fa tambi\u00e9n #epilep\u00bb completa su actividad con salidas culturales, ferias, mercados solidarios, clases de zumba o espect\u00e1culos de magia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>El Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL) es un centro de investigaci\u00f3n en biomedicina creado en 2004. Est\u00e1 participado por el Hospital Universitario de Bellvitge y el Hospital de Viladecans del Instituto Catal\u00e1n de la Salud, el Instituto Catal\u00e1n de Oncolog\u00eda, la Universidad de Barcelona y el Ayuntamiento de L&#8217;Hospitalet de Llobregat.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>El IDIBELL es miembro del Campus de Excelencia Internacional de la Universidad de Barcelona HUBc y forma parte de la instituci\u00f3n CERCA de la Generalitat de Catalunya. En 2009 se convirti\u00f3 en uno de los cinco primeros centros de investigaci\u00f3n espa\u00f1oles acreditados como instituto de investigaci\u00f3n sanitaria por el Instituto de Salud Carlos III. Adem\u00e1s, forma parte del programa \u00abHR Excellence in Research\u00bb de la Uni\u00f3n Europea y es miembro de EATRIS y REGIC.
