Esta es la primera vez que se celebran fuera de los Estados Unidos los congresos DREAM (siglas de Dialogue for Reverse Engineering Assessments and Methods) y RECOMB (Research in Computational Molecular Biology), a los que se ha a\u00f1adido la Conferencia IDIBELL sobre bioinform\u00e1tica RICCI (Research, Computational Biology and Cancer Informatics).
