El Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL) quiere expresar su p\u00e9same por la muerte de Antoni T\u00e0pies el d\u00eda 6 de febrero. En 2004, el artista realiz\u00f3 de manera altruista el logotipo del centro de investigaci\u00f3n, de la misma manera que, a\u00f1os antes, hab\u00eda hecho el de la Fundaci\u00f3n August Pi i Sunyer del Hospital Universitario de Bellvitge, predecessora del IDIBELL.<\/p>\n
El logotipo creado por T\u00e0pies responde a la pasi\u00f3n que mueve el equipo cient\u00edfico de la instituci\u00f3n, al tiempo que quiere representar la calidad, el talento y la dimensi\u00f3n humana que conlleva la tarea de los investigadores para la sociedad. El coraz\u00f3n y la cruz sanitaria nacidos del trazo del maestro son la obra de donde nace un s\u00edmbolo universal para representar el IDIBELL.<\/p>\n
El 12 de febrero del a\u00f1o 2008, los investigadores del IDIBELL rindieron un homenaje al artista en la sala de convenciones del Hotel Hesperia Tower de L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, en un acto presidido por el entonces ministro de Sanidad, Bernat Soria.<\/p>\n
