As\u00ed lo explic\u00f3 Laura Valle, investigadora del grupo de C\u00e1ncer Hereditario del IDIBELL, durante una conferencia celebrada el d\u00eda 16 de noviembre en la biblioteca Tecla Sala de Hospitalet de Llobregat, en una sala llena, sobre todo, de estudiantes de secundaria. La charla estaba organizada por el Centro Cultural Sant Josep del Ayuntamiento de L’Hospitalet y el IDIBELL, y formaba parte del ciclo Pessics de Ci\u00e8ncia y de los actos de la decimos\u00e9ptima Semana de la Ciencia.<\/p>\n
Laura Valle empez\u00f3 hablando sobre los pasos a seguir para poder ser un investigador: el proceso de formaci\u00f3n, la manera como se eval\u00faa la excelencia, en qu\u00e9 consiste el m\u00e9todo cient\u00edfico y las cualidades de un buen investigador. La doctora Valle desmitific\u00f3 la idea del investigador estramb\u00f3tico, solitario, viejo y feo que a menudo aparece en las pel\u00edculas. A continuaci\u00f3n, habl\u00f3 sobre su campo de estudio, el c\u00e1ncer hereditario, y, concretamente sobre las formas hereditarias del c\u00e1ncer colorrectal.
