El Parque de la Ciutadella de Barcelona acogi\u00f3 el 15 y 16 de junio la Fiesta de la Ciencia y la Tecnolog\u00eda. El grupo de cognici\u00f3n y plasticidad cerebral del IDIBELL particip\u00f3 proponiendo diversas actividades para descubrir c\u00f3mo nuestro cerebro a menudo nos hace percibir las cosas de una manera diferente a la realidad.<\/p>\n

Este es el primer a\u00f1o que la investigadora Luc\u00eda Vaquero participa en la Fiesta de la Ciencia. Para ella ha sido una experiencia enriquecedora poder explicar a trav\u00e9s de varios experimentos como investiga el funcionamiento de nuestro cerebro. “Hemos realizado una actividad de ilusiones \u00f3pticas, con videos e im\u00e1genes en las que creemos percibir cosas que en realidad no est\u00e1n. Es curioso c\u00f3mo la gente, especialmente los ni\u00f1os, se sorprenden y les genera preguntas sobre c\u00f3mo y por qu\u00e9 el cerebro nos enga\u00f1a “explica Vaquero.<\/p>\n

Joanna Sierpowska, tambi\u00e9n del grupo de cognici\u00f3n y plasticidad cerebral, ya hab\u00eda participado en ediciones anteriores de la fiesta y este a\u00f1o ha repetido con un experimento ‘trampa’ sobre la falsa memoria, explicando a los participantes c\u00f3mo este proceso cerebral puede tener consecuencias en la vida real, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del laboratorio. “Por ejemplo, es importante a nivel jur\u00eddico porque
\nlas personas podemos llegar a recordar detalles de un crimen que no son reales”.<\/p>\n

Las personas que pasaron por la carpa de la Asociaci\u00f3n Catalana de Entidades de Investigaci\u00f3n (ACER) pudieron descubrir estos enga\u00f1os del cerebro adem\u00e1s de ver en tiempo real c\u00f3mo cambiaba la actividad el\u00e9ctrica de su cerebro seg\u00fan experimentaban diversas emociones.<\/p>\n

La Fiesta de la Ciencia y la Teconolog\u00eda est\u00e1 organizada por el Instituto de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona y este a\u00f1o ha celebrado su s\u00e9ptima edici\u00f3n con el objetivo de que todo el que quiera pueda descubrir y experimentar de la mano de sus protagonistas la b\u00fasqueda y la innovaci\u00f3n que se hace en Catalu\u00f1a.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
