Manel Esteller, director del Programa de Epigen\u00e9tica y Biolog\u00eda del C\u00e1ncer del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL), profesor investigador ICREA y profesor de Gen\u00e9tica de la Universidad de Barcelona, ha sido reconocido como uno de los cient\u00edficos m\u00e1s influyentes en el \u00e1rea de la biomedicina seg\u00fan un reciente estudio bibliom\u00e9trico.<\/p>\n
El trabajo de la Universidad de Stanford analiza el n\u00famero de citas de quince millones de autores de art\u00edculos biom\u00e9dicos y destaca los cuatrocientos con mayor n\u00famero total de citas y con el \u00edndice-h m\u00e1s elevado, (\u00edndice que se calcula en base a la distribuci\u00f3n de citas que han recibido los trabajos cient\u00edficos de un investigador), entre los que se encuentra el investigador del IDIBELL.<\/p>\n
Esteller es el \u00fanico cient\u00edfico trabajando en el estado espa\u00f1ol incluido en el grupo de los investigadores m\u00e1s destacados a nivel internacional en dicho ranking.<\/p>\n
