La\u00a0Direcci\u00f3 General de Recerca de la Secretaria d\u2019Universitats i Recerca (Departament d\u2019Empresa i Coneixement) ha concedido un proyecto al Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL) para la optimizaci\u00f3n, adaptaci\u00f3n, mejora de las instalaciones y adquisici\u00f3n de equipamiento tecnol\u00f3gico en el IDIBELL de cara la pr\u00f3xima integraci\u00f3n del Centro de Medicina Regenerativa de Barcelona (CMRB) en estos espacios. El proyecto, que se financia a trav\u00e9s del Fondo Europeo para el Desarrollo Regional (FEDER), tiene un coste total de 3.410.983,08\u20ac, de los que se subvencionan 1.705.491,54 \u20ac, un 50%.<\/p>\n
El Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER) es un instrumento financiero de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea. Estos fondos son subvenciones a fondo perdido y se gestionan directamente por las administraciones p\u00fablicas; en el proyecto otorgado al IDIBELL, la gesti\u00f3n corre a cargo del Departamento de Empresa y Conocimiento de la Generalitat de Catalu\u00f1a y se enmarca dentro las ayudas a proyectos singulares institucionales de construcci\u00f3n, adquisici\u00f3n, habilitaci\u00f3n y \/ o ampliaci\u00f3n sustancial de edificaciones para infraestructuras de I + D que posibiliten la generaci\u00f3n de investigaci\u00f3n de excelencia, la atracci\u00f3n del talento y el desarrollo de actividades de transferencia del conocimiento y valorizaci\u00f3n<\/p>\n
La finalidad del FEDER es fortalecer la cohesi\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica y social en la Uni\u00f3n Europea, para\u00a0 corregir los desequilibrios entre sus regiones.
