La Dra. Conxi L\u00e1zaro, directora de la Unidad de Diagn\u00f3stico Molecular del Programa de C\u00e1ncer Hereditario ICO-IDIBELL, ha recibido el prestigioso premio Theodor Schwann concedido por la Asociaci\u00f3n Europea de Neurofibromatosis. Este premio recibe el nombre en honor al fisi\u00f3logo alem\u00e1n que identific\u00f3 las c\u00e9lulas
responsables de los tumores presentes en los pacientes con Neurofibromatosis de tipo 1, las c\u00e9lulas
de Schwann.
La Dra. L\u00e1zaro ha recibido esta distinci\u00f3n durante el reciente Congreso Europeo de Neurofibromatosis, que ha tenido lugar en la ciudad de Padova-Abano Terme (Italia) los pasados \u200b\u200b8-11 de Septiembre. La investigadora lleva m\u00e1s de 25 a\u00f1os trabajando en las bases gen\u00e9ticas de la Neurofibromatosis de tipo 1; ha dirigido varias tesis doctorales, obtenido diferentes proyectos y premios nacionales e internacionales y ha publicado m\u00faltiples art\u00edculos
