La gesti\u00f3n preventiva del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL) ha sido galardonada con un acc\u00e9sit especial por MC MUTUAL, mutua colaboradora con la Seguridad Social, en la XVII Edici\u00f3n de los Premios MC MUTUAL \u201cAntonio Bar\u00f3\u201d a la Prevenci\u00f3n de Riesgos Laborales, que reconocen a las empresas, personas e instituciones que sobresalen por proteger, de forma eficaz, la seguridad y la salud de las personas en el \u00e1mbito laboral.<\/p>\n

El jurado, compuesto por la Comisi\u00f3n de Control y Seguimiento de MC MUTUAL, ha reconocido la calidad de la gesti\u00f3n preventiva realizada por el departamento de prevenci\u00f3n de riesgos laborales del IDIBELL, que bajo el lema \u201cSafe research is good research\u201d (investigaci\u00f3n segura, investigaci\u00f3n buena) incluye iniciativas como el uso de Milo, un personaje dise\u00f1ado para informar al personal sobre buenas pr\u00e1cticas en prevenci\u00f3n. El reconocimiento ha sido recogido por el doctor Gabriel Capell\u00e1, director del Instituto, y Milagro Gonz\u00e1lez Garrigues como responsable de prevenci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Los Premios \u201cAntonio Bar\u00f3\u201d a la Prevenci\u00f3n de Riesgos Laborales nacieron en 2001, en memoria del que fue presidente de Mutual Cyclops durante 14 a\u00f1os. A lo largo de las diecisiete ediciones celebradas, incluida la presente, MC MUTUAL ha concedido 81 premios, 4 menciones de honor, 23 acc\u00e9sits especiales y ha distinguido la gesti\u00f3n preventiva de cerca de 600 organizaciones.
