La Dra. Antonella Consiglio, investigadora principal del grupo de c\u00e9lulas madre y enfermedades neurodegenerativas del IDIBELL, investigadora ICREA academy, y profesora de la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ub.edu\/medicina\/\">Facultad de Medicina i Ciencias de la Salut<\/a> de la Universidad de Barcelona (UB) y del Instituto de Biomedicina de la UB (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ub.edu\/ibub\/\">IBUB<\/a>), y el Dr. \u00c1ngel Raya, coordinador del programa de Medicina Regenerativa del IDIBELL, investigador ICREA y miembro del CIBER-BBN, han sido destacados por su trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n en enfermedades neurodegenerativas. Los Premios Ciudad de Barcelona son un reconocimiento a la creaci\u00f3n, la investigaci\u00f3n y la producci\u00f3n realizadas en Barcelona para creadores y\/o instituciones de la ciudad. La ceremonia de entrega de los galardones tendr\u00e1 lugar el pr\u00f3ximo 11 de febrero a las 18.00 h en el Sal\u00f3 de Cent del ayuntamiento.<\/p>\n<p>El galard\u00f3n de Ciencias de la Vida recae, en concreto, en el art\u00edculo de investigaci\u00f3n &#8216;Patient-specific IPSC-derived astrocytes Contribute to non-cell autonomous neurodegeneration in Parkinson s disease&#8217;, coliderado por Consiglio y Raya, por su calidad y su avance significativo en el campo de las enfermedades neurodegenerativas.
