El grupo de Apoptosis y C\u00e1ncer estudia el mecanismo de acci\u00f3n de la fluorizolina, un compuesto de tiazolina fluorado, que forma parte de una nueva clase de compuestos proapopt\u00f3ticos y candidatos a ser agentes anticancerosos que han sido descubiertos y descritos por el grupo. El grupo tambi\u00e9n trabaja en la evaluaci\u00f3n del papel de las c\u00e9lulas madre tumorales en la resistencia terap\u00e9utica del glioblastoma humano y el c\u00e1ncer de ovario a nivel de mecanismos celulares y moleculares.<\/p>\n
