The Neurofunctional Unit, created by the HUB and ICO Hospitalet, has made \u200b\u200bpossible to get one of the lowest rates on surgical complication of high-grade gliomas in Spain<\/p>\n<p>The main goal of surgery in the treatment of brain tumors is to increase the survival of patients and improve their quality of life. It is therefore essential to achieve the maximum tumor resection possible , while preserving the patient&#8217;s neurological function. This is especially difficult in those tumors located in eloquent brain areas , ie those areas containing<\/p>\n<p>important neurological functions such as language, movement, memory or vision.
