Of the 17 proposals submitted by the institute, the Commission has awarded 4 fellowships &#8211; worth 640,000 euros &#8211; to postdoctoral researchers, a historic milestone (success rate of 23.5%) that has been achieved the year that received the most proposals so far, 9,089.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The IDIBELL postdoctoral researchers distinguished by the European Commission are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dr. Caroline Mauvezin, Cancer and Metabolism research group (Oncobell) &#8211; Supervisor: Dr. Albert Tauler<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Robert Carreras, Colorectal Cancer research group (Oncobell) &#8211; Supervisor: Dr. V\u00edctor Moreno<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Hellen Kelly, Cancer Epidemiology research group &#8211; Supervisor: Dr. Silvia de San Jos\u00e9 (Cancer Epidemiology)<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Lourdes Farr\u00e9, Chemotherapy and orthotopic xenografts research group (Oncobell) &#8211; Supervisor: Dr. Alberto Villanueva<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The average evaluation score of the 4 winners was 94.60 out of 100.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Marie-Curie fellowships, a successful story<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Since 1994, the European Union has supported the work of 110,000 researchers of different disciplines through the Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions program. In this edition, which has received 9,089 proposals, 1,348 researchers have been selected with projects dedicated to anti-corruption policies, the consequences of global warming, supercomputers, the search for new strategies against viruses and many others.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The funding, which is part of EU&#8217;s Horizon 2020 program for research and innovation, has a total value of 248.7 million euros &#8211;
