The Apoptosis and Cancer group studies the mechanism of action of fluorizoline, a fluorate thiazoline compound, which is part of a new class of proapoptotic compounds and candidates to become anticancer agents, which have been discovered and reported by the group. The group also works towards evaluating the role of tumour stem cells in the therapeutic resistance of human glioblastoma and ovarian cancer at the cell and molecular mechanism level.<\/p>\n
