In accordance with Article 61 of Law 9\/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts (hereinafter, LCSP), the contracting authority is the representative of the Administration or public sector entities empowered to enter into contracts on their behalf and with full authority to carry out any transaction within their contracting profile.<\/p>\n

Law 9\/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, establishes the requirements and procedures to be followed according to the specific needs of the contract.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t2. What is the splitting of the object of the contract?\n\t\t\t\t Contract splitting is the improper division of a contract to avoid the applicable advertising rules and award procedures. The purpose of this practice is to benefit from simpler rules, but it is expressly prohibited by current regulations (Article 99.2 of the LCSP).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t3. What are the tender amounts?\n\t\t\t\t Tender amounts are the maximum economic amounts established for the award of public contracts. They include the estimated value of the contract, the base budget, and the tender price (Articles 100 to 102 of the LCSP). These amounts determine the applicable procedures and requirements.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t4. What are the bidding deadlines?\n\t\t\t\t Tender deadlines are the periods established for each phase of the public procurement process. They include the submission of bids, the opening of bid envelopes, and the award of the contract.
