One of the most fundamental questions in biology is to understand how transcriptional and epigenetic factors generate defined cellular phenotypes during development, and how such coherent phenotypes degrade during aging. Recently, single-cell multiomics technology has emerged as a powerful approach to investigate these questions. In my talk, I will show how I have used this technology to investigate the underlying causes of muscle stem cell aging.
