Common Services

The objective of the Common Services Unit is to provide optimal spaces and equipments to support IDIBELL staff research. The unit also offers specific working laboratories as Biosafety Level 2 rooms, to work with specific biological agents, and a Radioactivity Installation, in order to guarantee a safe working environment.

Services

Cell culture laboratories
Cryogenics: to provide spaces and equipments for samples cryo-preservation. Our unit also coordinate/supervise cryogenic monitor/alarm softwares (Pyxeca, Syintesis, Sirius), and provide backup ultrafreezers and nitrogen tanks.
Technical Rooms: to manage common equipments.
Washing and sterilization service: clean and sterilize plastic and glass labware, liquid sterilization, prepare bacteria growth media and plates.
Biosafety Level 2 Laboratories (retroviruse room, adenovirus room, human sample room). Restrictedd access.
Radioactivity Installation (IRA1145) 2nd category. Restricted access.
