Knowledge Management and Quality

The objective of the Knowledge Management and Quality Department is to be aware of, evaluate and assess IDIBELL activities and processes, using this knowledge to improve the services and efficiency of the institution and to facilitate strategic decision-making. Under the Organization and People Area, the Department includes two units: Knowledge Management and Quality.

The Knowledge Management Unit is in charge of managing, showcasing and analyzing institutional performance indicators, consulting in science evaluation matters and coordinating Open Access initiatives in order to ensure that IDIBELL research is available to society and the scientific community.

The Quality Unit is in charge of monitoring the legal and customer requirements compliance, lean managing and provide consulting in to implementing quality management systems.
