Pre-award:

• Dissemination of the different calls for funding of projects and felloships for the incorporation of personnel at a national and international level, acting as an interlocutor with the funding bodies.
• Support throughout the application process of the R+D+i funding proposal; from the fitting of the idea to the call, the preparation and review of the proposal and the budget to the preparation of the necessary administrative documentation.
• Support in the formation of consortia and in the negotiation of the necessary agreements once the project has been granted.
• Analysis and monitoring of the lines of research and scientific production of the research groups to develop financing strategies.
• Valuation of skills and results of research groups in order to enhance the ability to raise competitive funding and/or collaboration with the company.
• Carrying out training and informative actions for the research community.

Post-award:

• Monitoring and updating of the regulations applicable to the grants.
• Advice to principal investigators (meetings, kick-off's, etc.).
• Control of the execution of project expenses, guaranteeing their compliance with the applicable regulations.
• Management of economic modifications (budget and authorization of expenses).
• Management of duration modifications (extensions and resignations).
• Management of other changes necessary for the execution of a grant: centre, IP, research team, methodology or partners.
• Preparation of economic justifications.
• Coordination and submission of scientific reports.
• Coordination efforts in projects coordinated by IDIBELL.
• Dialogue with funding agencies.
• Management of external audits of grants.
• Preparation of the allegations related to the requirements of the justified expenses rejected.
