The first project funded is “epigenetic and functional study of adenosine receptors A1, A2A and dopamine D2 in schizophrenia: molecular mechanisms involved”, coordinated by the IDIBELL researcher Marta Barrachina, in collaboration with Mairena Martín López, researcher of the Regional Center of Biomedical Research of Ciudad Real. The second project, “Neurophysiological correlates of reward processing and cognitive control with Borderline Personality Disorder with and without a history of self-injury”, is coordinated by Josep Marco, IDIBELL researcher and professor of psychology at the University of Barcelona.

The ceremony was presided by the Catalan Minister of Health, Marina Geli; the vice dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the UB, Alberto Torres, and the president of the Catalan Audiovisual Media Corporation and La Marató de TV3 Foundation, Albert Sáez. Also took part Dr. Miquel Casas, professor of Psychiatry at UAB and chief of psychiatry at the Vall d’Hebron Hospital, who delivered the lecture “psychiatricization of everyday life: not so much or so little” under this act submitted by journalists Raquel Sans and Lídia Heredia.
