The researcher of the hereditary cancer group at IDIBELL, Laura Valle, has been awarded ‘young researcher in human genetics’ of the Spanish Association of Human Genetics (AEGH).

The award was presented on April 12 in Madrid, under the XXVII Congress of the Association, which was held between 10 and 12 April. The award recognizes the research work of scientists under 35 in the field of human genetics.

The Spanish Association of Human Genetics was founded in 1974 and consists of more than 500 professionals from all branches of human genetics, both in clinical settings, such as research and teaching.
