Abstract

All problems have a solution! Biomedical research is essential and thus we need to find a way to reduce its environmental impact. In IDIBELL, we want to offer you tools to achieve this. Join this 1-hour webinar to learn more about:
1) The worst offenders in terms of equipment and habits that contribute to the climate impact of bioscience lab work
2) Which high-impact green actions you can take in the lab without compromising research
3) The many good arguments for going green that you can give your colleagues for joining the green agenda

Short Bio

Nikoline is a biochemist by training and an environmentalist by heart. She did a Ph.D. at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research (CPR) in Copenhagen, where she also founded the local green task force, CPR Goes Green, which is a grassroots movement that promotes sustainability at the center. After a short postdoc, Nikoline left academia to work as an independent, value-driven green lab consultant. She now helps public research institutions and private companies reduce the environmental impact and carbon footprint of their laboratories.
