IDIBELL professionals participated in the 17th Collaborative Conference of the Biomedicine degree of the Bellvitge and Diagonal campuses of the University of Barcelona, held on December 12. The main objective of this meeting was to promote interest in research among young students and to strengthen the links between academic training and clinical practice.

The conference highlights the desire of research professors to motivate and accompany students in their training journey, facilitating the transition from the academic world to the real needs of research and health care. In this sense, the Bellvitge Health Campus has several key assets – biomedical research, healthcare and university teaching – that must be put in contact to promote the comprehensive training of future health professionals.

In this edition, Bellvitge Health Campus researchers Catalina Falo (IDIBELL-ICO) and Anna Manzano (IDIBELL-UB) participated, sharing their experience and knowledge with the students, contributing to strengthening the relationship between university, research and the clinical environment.
