The UPDATE project is led by Dr. Fernando Fernandez Aranda and the IDIBELL International Projects Unit. During the two years of the project (2023-2024), various activities have been planned and grouped into 6 pillars: the promotion of financing opportunities and support for the construction of European projects, the training of international project managers, the improvement of the international visibility of IDIBELL and its campus, fostering relationships with companies, training the scientific community, promoting the impact of research and the incorporation of “Responsible Research and Innovation” (RRI) aspects.
The actions carried out with the UPDATE project are expected to help consolidate the International Projects Office and prepare our institution for the new European and international challenges. It will also help improve the leadership of Bellvitge Campus researchers in European and international projects.
