In World Cancer Day, NanoMed organizes the seventh edition of the HealthTech World Cancer Day. An event in which the latest innovations in nanomedicine cancer filed, will be announced. Experts will talk about issues ranging from early diagnosis, controlled drug release or radiotherapy with nanoparticles.

The Bioengineering Institute of Catalonia (IBEC) and the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL) collaborate in this year’s event. This year we will have the participation of Josep Samitier, Isabel Fabregat, Jordi Alcaraz, Nieves G. Bastús, Samuel Sánchez, Sara Larriba and Esther Aguilar Fadó. All of them will allow us to discover how nanomedicine can become a very powerful tool to generate progress.

The event will take place on Monday, February 3rd at 10 a.m., in the Pau Viladiu room of the Duran i Reynals Hospital. To attend the event, it is necessary to register before Wednesday January 29th, in the link that you will find on the right.

Started in 2013 under the name of NANO WORLD CANCER DAY, this event has been organized by the European Technology Platform on Nanomedicine (ETPN) and is currently supported by the European NOBEL (Smarter HealthTech in Europe) project. In Spain, it is organized by NanoMed Spain and is carried out simultaneously in different countries in Europe.
